The Four Horsemen by Dave Turner

This is the fourth novels in the How to be Dead series, and I think it’s my absolute favourite so far. Perhaps because the four horsemen of the apocalypse, Conquest, Famine, War, and Death (my favourite) are all together, trying to solve a mystery in Victorian London. They team up with Beelzebub to fight a creature from the Other World kidnapping children.

This lovely novel is full of laugh out loud moments, action, and touching moments. The story has everything, even chocolate Hobnobs. I read the scene of the duel between Conquest and De La Croix slowly because I was laughing too hard.

It’s a wonderful, stand alone book. I’m looking forward to reading book five!
